Our Story

A Family-Oriented Church, Raising the End-Time Army

RCCG New Wine is a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, established in July 2024. We are a Christ-centered, Bible-believing, family-oriented church committed to raising end-time believers rooted in God’s Word, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and equipped to make a lasting impact in their homes, workplaces, communities, and nations.

We exist to build up men, women, youths, and children of integrity who appreciate their God-given gifts and use them to positively transform their communities. RCCG traces its roots to 1952 in Lagos, Nigeria, and today, under the leadership of General Overseer Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, it has grown into one of the most far-reaching Pentecostal movements in the world, with congregations in over 190 nations. New Wine carries that same spirit into Whitby: Spirit-filled worship, biblical preaching, and a heart for reaching every family with the Gospel.

Our Mission

To lead people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ through biblical teaching, passionate worship, prayer, discipleship, and community outreach. We are committed to holiness as a lifestyle, to nurturing every believer toward maturity in Christ, and to planting seeds of faith that reach every household in our city and beyond.

Our Vision

To raise believers who know God intimately, discover their purpose, develop their God-given gifts, and influence the world for Christ. We see a multicultural family of worshippers, of every age, background, and nation, equipped to carry the Gospel into their homes, workplaces, and communities until Christ is known in every corner of the earth.

Our Values

Christ-centered living, biblical teaching, prayer, worship, love and fellowship, family, service, excellence, evangelism, and discipleship shape everything we do. These are not slogans but daily commitments, the framework through which we build a church family that reflects the character of Christ in every season of life.

Our Beliefs

Rooted in Scripture

Our faith is anchored in the Bible as the inspired, infallible Word of God. We hold to the historic Christian faith, salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and a life set apart for holiness. As a Pentecostal, evangelical church, we also believe in the present-day work of the Holy Spirit, including spiritual gifts, divine healing, and empowerment for holy living, flowing through every believer, not the pulpit alone.

Senior Pastor

Meet Pastor Dapo

Pastor Dapo Sunday Oyinloye relocated to Canada in 2024 to pioneer RCCG New Wine in Whitby, Ontario, bringing over two decades of pastoral ministry across Nigeria and the Caribbean.

A graduate of the RCCG Bible College and DayStar Leadership Academy, he brings a shepherd’s heart and a lifelong devotion to God’s Word to every member of this church family.

Our Foundation

What We Believe

The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, and the final rule for faith and conduct. Every teaching, every decision, and every act of worship in our church flows from what Scripture reveals, not from tradition or opinion alone.
There is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, distinct yet perfectly united, and together they created, sustain, and are actively at work in the world today.
Salvation is by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, not by works. Anyone who turns from sin and trusts in His death and resurrection is forgiven, made new, and welcomed into God’s family forever.
Water baptism by immersion is a public declaration of a believer’s faith in Christ. It follows the pattern set by Jesus Himself and marks a believer’s identification with His death, burial, and resurrection.
The baptism of the Holy Spirit empowers believers for godly living and effective service. We welcome the Spirit’s gifts, including speaking in tongues, as part of a life fully surrendered to God and equipped to serve His Church.
Divine healing is provided for in the atonement of Jesus Christ for all who believe. We pray boldly for the sick, trusting that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is still at work today.
The Church is the Body of Christ, called to holiness and to make disciples of all nations. As a local expression of that global body, we exist to worship God, build up believers, and reach our city and the world with the Gospel.
Jesus Christ will return in power and glory, and every believer should live in readiness. His return is our great hope, the moment every promise of Scripture is fulfilled and God’s Kingdom is made complete.
